The Vango Icarus 500 Deluxe is a purple, tunnel‑style family tent that sleeps five. Its sleeping area can be divided into two bedrooms and there’s a porch area for storing furniture, bikes or muddy boots, giving families useful separation and storage on site.
Protection and ventilation are explicit design points: a 4000mm HH polyester flysheet and a 10000mm HH waterproof groundsheet are fitted, along with a sewn‑in groundsheet and breathable inner fabric to manage condensation. The tent has two zipped full mesh doors (front and side), two zipped half mesh inner doors, PowerFlex fibreglass poles, tension straps and pre‑attached guylines; it erects as one piece and has a listed pitch time of 20 minutes.
